You don't need to be an expert to do your pool maintenance
At first it may seem like a big challenge, but the truth is that over time doing the pool maintenance of your Exclusive Pool will become less of a difficult task. But for that, we need to start, don’t you agree?

Ideally, you should never let your pool deteriorate, as constant contact with poorly maintained pool water can bring health risks such as dermatitis, conjunctivitis, otitis (inflammation in the ear canal), bacterial infections such as staphylococcus, mycoses, gastrointestinal problems. -intestinal infections and even type A hepatitis.
To get rid of these and other health problems, check out the tips we’ve separated so you know how to clean and keep your pool always well cared for.
How to clean a pool: step-by-step for efficient cleaning
1. External area
With the accumulation of dirt and waste from the circulation of people, animals and even leaves carried by the wind, the first step is to clean the outside area of your pool. Start by sweeping these residues away from the water.
2. Filters or strainer
The second step is to clean the filters (sieve or skimmer). The skimmer is a device that is on the side of the pool and that collects the dirt that is on the surface of the water such as leaves and insects.
3. Water surface
Now is the time to remove the dirt that is floating in the water such as leaves, insects and flowers. Use the telescopic rod with the sieve to remove all these residues from the water. Buy a sieve with the mesh tightly closed so you can “fish” even the very small dirt.
4. Brush the coating
Clean the pool liner with the curved brush to remove algae buildup and debris. This procedure helps to prevent fungi and bacteria from accumulating inside the pool. Never, under any circumstances, use abrasives such as steel wool or metal brushes.
The pool vacuum is very similar to a vacuum cleaner, but it has a return mechanism that returns the vacuumed water, without residue, to the pool. The corners of the pool are places that tend to accumulate the most amount of dirt, so avoid making too sudden movements when vacuuming in these areas or you could lose all the work done so far.
6. Disinfect and treat water
The pool is clean, free of residues, leaves, insects, so now it’s time to take care of the water quality. For the water to be suitable for use, it is necessary to check the chlorination, PH and alkalinity.
How to clean swimming pool: cleaning frequency for your pool maintenance
To protect your health and that of your family, your pool should be cleaned regularly.
- Filter every time the pool is used and the filter should be cleaned once a week;
- Apply chlorine every other day. Every two days we recommend that you carry out an analysis of the residual chlorine level where the average should be 0.5 for every 2ppm;
- Do the PH analysis twice a week where it should be between 7.2 and 7.4;
- Alkalinity should be checked once a week and corrected with specific products if necessary;
- Algaecides should be applied once a week to keep the water free of algae;
- The surface of the water must be cleaned every day to remove leaves and insects;
- The pool should be vacuumed and edges cleaned once a week.
As you can see, cleaning the pool is not a difficult task, but it is a laborious process that requires patience and dedication. However, if you take care of the surroundings and the water, your pool will stay clean for longer and the maintenance process will not be so boring.
